OUR CURRICULUM

Beam of Hope covers Georgia's State Standards (Common Core) in Math and Literacy. However, we deliver our content through various approaches that are tailored to your students' unique needs. We believe in student led-learning and our focus is to ensure that learning is intriguing and exciting for your child.

CLASS SIZES

Beam of Hope is a micro school who believe in the impact of a mixed learning environment. Our focus is to ensure that your child is receiving individualized attention so they can flourish. As a result our program is capped at 15 students.

Our D.Y.S program will develop your child's self confidence through communication and team building strategies. Students will learn to:

Articulate and intonate to capture the audience
Create eye catching presentations using various online software
Develop confidence in public speaking using presentations as a guide
Host a webinars based on area of interest

INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHIC DESIGN

You are hired! Students will be hired as a graphic designer for a specific company (mock). It is time get those designing skills on!

Students will learn how to create multiple promotional items such as business cards, logos, flyers, posters etc. through various engaging tasks and activities that will not only encourage talent but also develop communication and problem solving skills.

BAKING & CULINARY 1

Does your child have an interest to learn how to cook? In our Culinary I program your child will learn basic kitchen safety as well as explore and prepare meals from various cultures! Italian, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asian - you name it, we will be exploring and preparing various dishes from that culture.

STEM

In this exciting and hands on program, students will explore robust and reusable engineering and robotics materials to support their growth and learning. Students are also introduced to STEM careers and/or life applications.

Explore life outside of the box! This amazing and engaging program is designed for your students to have fun by creating abstract pieces based on a given prompt. Students will interpret life through art!

Applying to our program is easy. First, submit a completed application form. You can access the form by clicking HERE. Once received, an administrator will reach out to schedule an interview (this can be hosted in person or online).

STEP 2

After meeting with the director you will receive the enrollment packet, and submit applicable fees to secure your seat.
